Spin List! #37

These are the 20 randomly selected books from my Classics Club Challenge that shall serve as my Spin List for said club. When a spin is spun a number between 1 and 20 will be announced, and I will have either to read the corresponding book or be banished to the outer Hebrides to live a life of solitude, my only fare seawater, white bread, and snails. [WARNING: One of these statements is similar to a lie, in that it is not quite true.]

I am very excited for my first spin, coming this Sunday!

  1. I also have Brideshead Revisited on my spin list. Perhaps one of us will get it! I would certainly be happy if it came up for me. Good luck on your first spin!!

    1. Thank you! I'd love it if I got Brideshead! I've read only two Waugh novels but I'm already quite hooked. He has a brilliant style! I can hardly wait for the spin, whatever it is!!

  2. The Count of Monte Cristo! That's the book I hope you get in this spin. There is no way I could read it by June but it's a book well worth reading no matter how long it takes.

    1. Thank you! Indeed, there are a couple of books on there that I think I'll have to give myself some leeway for (looking at you, Melmoth the Wanderer!), but in a way I'm most excited for those! I love a challenge, and with classic books you know they're worth it!!
